Advanced Fuels Systems was established in 1998. Supplying fuel safety cells (termed fuel bladders in the US) we are approved by the FIA to manufacture our own custom-built fuel safety cells.  (For more information, click on www.fia.com.)

To meet the requirements of a demanding European market, we have honed our specialist skills and are proud to be able to offer our customers a complete, bespoke product.  We are experts in the field of fuel containment and management, and have utilised modern, technological advancements to manufacture a superlative product.  In 2004, our efforts were recognised by the Motorsport Industry Association - winning its Business Excellence Award for Technology and Innovation.

Other areas in which we have applied our knowledge of fuel containment are:

• Boats.
• Road vehicles.

We have also been involved in exciting projects, most notably ThrustSCC's successful challenge to the World Supersonic Land Speed Record in 1997, providing the fuel safety cells (www.thrustssc.com).

At present, we are working with the management team that is aiming to win back the World Water Speed Record with Quicksilver (www.quicksilver-wsr.com) and we have also developed an economic refuelling package in association with the European Endurance Racing Club (www.eerc.co.uk).
